A new clue to understand the most important medication for tuberculosis (TB) works to attack dormant TB bacteria to shorten treatment has been found. The antibiotic Pyrazinamide (PZA) has been used to treat TB, but its mechanisms is the least understood of all TB drugs but also help in cuts off the energy production of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and thus killing the bacteria.
